Hello friends! I have an exciting announcement that I have been dying to share.
I’ve kept it under wraps now for a long time….. 🙂
We’re expecting twins!!!!!!
Our twin babies will be delivered via gestational surrogate on June 28th 6th, 2016, God willing, via planned c-section.
We will be heading back to Mumbai again this June to be there for the delivery, and we intend to be there for 4-6 weeks again, this time to get our children’s passports and paperwork for America! Then it will be a very looong flight home with two newborns and a then-seven year old, back to Idaho 🙂
For those of you wondering why I won’t be able to attend the RWA National Conference this summer, or the ACFW Conference (American Christian Fiction Writers), this is my very good excuse: I’ll be bonding with my new babies! 🙂
We do not know the gender of the twins, nor will we know until they are born, per Indian law that gender detection via ultrasound is not allowed. It will be a big surprise! We’ll either have two sons, two daughters, or one son and one daughter 🙂 They’ll definitely be fraternal — that we know!
We’re praying for the health and protection of our surrogate and the babies, that we’re able to safely bring our children home, and that above all, God’s will be done.
Giveaway! I’m giving away a hardcover edition of the bestselling devotional “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young. It’s a great book to begin a new year with. Enter on the Contests page!
Oh, this is wonderful. Congratulations.

Congratulations! Really happy for you both. Know what its really like to struggle and have a baby. Had one by taking Clomid and ten years later God helped us with two more in a three year span. Rest now before the big arrivals and God bless you and yours.
Thank you, Marie! 🙂 Praise the Lord for your little ones! Such a blessing 🙂
